Responsibilities
- Greeting and Seating Guests:
- Welcome guests with a warm and friendly attitude, escort them to their tables and ensure their comfort.
- Provide menus and answer any questions or offer recommendations regarding food and beverage options.
- Order Taking and Accuracy:
- Efficiently and accurately take orders from guests, ensuring all special requests and dietary restrictions are noted.
- Relay orders to the kitchen and bar staff promptly, ensuring smooth communication and timely service.
- Food and Beverage Service:
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a professional and courteous manner.
- Ensure proper table setting, including utensils, glasses, and condiments.
- Monitor tables and promptly attend to guests’ needs, such as refilling drinks, clearing plates, and accommodating additional requests.
- Knowledgeable and Engaging:
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods.
- Provide suggestions and recommendations to guests, considering their preferences and dietary requirements.
- Engage with guests, creating a friendly and personalized dining experience.
- Payment Processing:
- Present bills to guests, accurately itemizing the charges.
- Process payments through cash, credit cards, or other approved methods.
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records of transactions.
- Cleanliness and Hygiene:
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
- Follow proper sanitation and hygiene practices to ensure a safe and healthy environment for guests.
